THE HISTORY OF HE IS MY NEIGHBOR

He Is My Neighbor Ministries was officially established on November 16, 2009, but HIMN volunteers have been sharing the Gospel with migrant workers in Houston as early as April 2009. The sharing events take place 1-3 Saturdays a month. We now currently hold sharing events in three locations in the greater Houston area, rotating between the three as volunteer attendance allows. These locations include: the corner of Bellaire Boulevard and Beltway 8, the parking lot of the Carnavalito shopping center on West Bellfort and US 59 (near Fry’s Electronics), and the corner of Hillcroft and Bellaire. Typically, these outreach events involve preaching the Gospel and distributing Gospel tracts to migrant workers as they wait for work. We also provide food, drinks, clothing, and  occasional gifts to them. Currently, we have been blessed with many faithful volunteers from both Spanish and Chinese-speaking churches. For more details regarding past sharing events, please refer to the Newsletters section. To find out about upcoming events, click here.
